German Premiere League club Hannover 96 and several news outlets confirm that the goal keeper for the German national soccer team, Robert Enke (32), died on Tuesday evening (CET).
The official statement says that he was involved in "an accident at a railway crossing".
Enke leaves a wife and an 8-month-old daughter behind.
Edit: As the police report isn't out yet, they obviously cannot make a final statement. However, real "accidents at railway crossings" are almost unheard of in Germany, while that form of suicide is rather common.

Tobey, Jake, Natalie and Oscar: O 'Brothers' where art thou?
With Lionsgate understandably basking in the glow of this weekend's $1.8-million, $100,000-per-screen, record-shattering opening of "Precious," the already stratospheric Oscar buzz is likely to soar even higher.
But do they have a second contender looming in the wings, and if so, why is no blogger buzzing about "Brothers" even with its Dec. 4 opening less than a month away?

| Confirmed: Ugly Betty Moves From Friday Death Slot to Wednesdays |

Entertainment news blog Afterelton.com reports that Ugly Betty’s move to Wednesdays in the 10pm slot has been confirmed by inside sources at ABC:
smile, betty! your show isn't completely dead. plus, you look good this season.

Just when I thought network programming was so bad that it had to be done by a bunch of drunk monkeys (see: NBCSucks), ABC goes and proves me wrong by moving Ugly Betty to Wednesday nights, rectifying their bone-headed mistake of moving the show to Fridays. Kristin at E! reported it as as a rumor this morning, but a source very close to the show has confirmed to AfterElton.com the move is definite although the time hasn’t been decided for sure.

It’s not very clear to me from that post what the fate of The Middle (Hank’s fate seems more certain, and it isn’t good) is in such a move, but I’d be surprised to see Ugly Betty at 10pm. Of course, I was surprised that they would move Ugly Betty from Fridays!
I’m sure sooner rather than later we’ll hear more and get official word from ABC along with the rest of its mid-season scheduling plans.

| Lady Gaga Launches Her Next Phase With Eye-Grabbing 'Bad Romance' Video |

The wait is over! On Tuesday (November 10), after 24 hours spent frantically refreshing LadyGaga.com for its scheduled Monday premiere, fans were finally treated to the premiere of Gaga's much-discussed "Bad Romance" video. And needless to say, it was worth the wait.
Directed by Francis Lawrence — who's helmed clips for the likes of Britney, Justin, Gwen and Shakira, not to mention the post-apocalyptic Will Smith vehicle "I Am Legend" — and featuring countless costume changes (and one unearthly pair of Alexander McQueen heels), partial nudity, and choreography that runs the gamut from spooky to sexy, "Bad Romance" is very much an event, the kind of video you just don't see very often anymore — and that goes double for the anticipation surrounding it.

“I had a great time with Hef and the girls when they came to see ‘Peepshow’ and hang out in Vegas. I don't watch the other episodes though, because it kind of makes me mad,” Madison told Tarts. “The girls need to focus on what makes them unique and not doing the same things Bridget, Kendra and I have already done on the show. Even camping in the backyard was an idea I had for an episode that we never got around to shooting. And guess what they just showed? The girls camping in the backyard. I don't want to look behind, I want to look forward.”

In a shocking revelation, Dina Lohan drops the bombshell that her daughter Lindsay was secretly dating Heath Ledger when he died and his death devastated her. In the explosive recorded audio tape of a phone conversation between Dina and Michael Lohan, Dina says that Ledger and Lindsay had been dating at the time of his tragic death in January of 2008.
"And she was dating Heath when he died," Dina reveals to Michael. "I don't know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends very, very close, ok?"
Dina told Michael about the relationship because she was afraid for Lindsay's life too: "Because when she's drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking."
She said that the actor's death was a terrible shock to Lindsay. "That fucked her up," Dina says.
